Nashville Boutique Hotel Guide: The Fairlane Hotel

You know... we're no stranger to figuring out the vibey-est, most unique spaces around here. Nashville is one of those gems where there is no lack of killer spaces. I recently staycationed at the Fairlane Hotel in downtown as part of my Nashville staycation series! Between the midcentury modern, Man Men vibes and the location to all the action, the Fairlane hotel is definitely one of the trendiest hotels in town. So, let's get to it. A locals review on part four of my ultimate Nashville staycation guide, the Fairlane Hotel.

Located on the corner of 4th Ave N and Union St, it is only an 8 minute walk to the infamous Honky Tonk Highway. And as you walk to Broadway, restaurants and bars line the streets, including iconic Printers Alley, Rare Bird, and the rooftop of the Bobby. Wanna check out more rooftop bars in the area? Their 12 story hotel is in an old bank, built in 1972. As you enter the front door, you're met with the most beautiful midcentury modern lobby, with details like terrazzo flooring, brass details, and wood paneling. The ceilings are super high and the lighting just screams nostalgia and Gatsby vibes. It does not disappoint. Their lobby also has a bagel shop, called... Bagelshop lol. I grabbed some bagels for breakfast and they were super tasty.

Rooms

I stayed in a king room on the 11th floor! The room was such a vibe with the midcentury modern touches and green velvet headboards. Floor to ceiling windows amazed me with a view over downtown Nashville and the surrounding hills. Additionally, there is a desk and MINI BAR! The bath features a large walk in shower with glass walls that see into the bedroom, which is super sexy. There is a separate washroom with a toilet and ROBES. Y'all... the robes were so soft. I am a sucker for a hotel robe.

Ellington's Restaurant

Located on the 4th floor is their Southern inspired restaurant, Ellington's. It is open for happy hour and dinner starting at 4pm. We ordered our classic drinks, a dirty gin martini for him and an old fashioned for me. Drinks were followed by the salmon, grilled broccolini, and the Parmesan herb fries.

Our eccentric waiter helped us figure out what to order, how they source all local ingredients, and employ top notch kitchen staff to provide a great meal. During the summers, enjoy their large wrap around outdoor terrace perfect for an upscale rooftop experience.

Overall, the Fairlane is a good place to stay. I enjoyed that it was a clean escape from home with modern touches. Plus, I had it all to myself with no hubby or puppy to take my blankets lol.
